Finally he came first in F1. No one has been more unlucky in most sporting avenues as Mark Webber has been. Team troubles and mechanical problems have plagued him for the best part of 7 years, but finally with Red Bull he's found a team that he can perform with.
Unless you've been following Mark Webber for years on end you can't really appreciate how excited he was. Well done to him and I hope he continues on in brilliant form.
98% car.. 2% driver thats the reasons for winning F1 at the moment, it's become boring, still it makes a change from the other twat, cant think of his name.

Jenson Button is who you're thinking of.
And yes while it's true that a race is highly dependant upon the car and its mechanics that "2%" difference the driver makes is the most important teams when cars in a similar league come up against each other (Ie. Brawn/Red Bull)
the old school F1 was amazing when Michael Schumacher and Mika Häkkinen were competing against each other. Now its quite boring
IDG why people keep saying its boring. I've been following F1 for a long time and I still find it enjoyable to watch. Yes Button started off with a massive lead but it's actually getting close now.

i was into F1 in a big way until i was 12-13 so 6-7 years ago and i watched alot of tapes my old man had of races back in the early 90s (Prost and Senna era and following that early Schumacher and Hill in the era when it looked like DC was going to be huge![btw if you want to talk about bad luck he is the Number 1 man for the title in F1]) tbh for about the last 10 years it's been bollocks by comparison
Well done to Hamilton with his first podium finish of the season. Button has less then a 20 point lead over Webber now with 7 races left in the season. White wash my ass, it's getting interesting.
