Topic: Any explanation?

Basically, since I can remember I've had a six-pack - a good chest, triceps biceps etcetc.....
I literally dont lead a healthy lifestyle but I've never lost them (my metabolism is high so I dont put on weight at all..) I went the gym for a spell of a year saw great improvements for the first 6 months and decided to bulk up (as im skinny - in a sense) but I just couldn't, so I just gave up on training.

But is there any real explanation as to why I have these noticable muscles when I do absolutely no training at all? I smoke, eat unhealthy (for the past few months) etc but they just stay there.

Re: Any explanation?

if you run alot that will burn off everything you eat and if you lift every now and then that will keep you fit also. i never used to gain weight but my motabolism is starting to slow down and im starting to get a littlle belly i gotta go run a bit

Re: Any explanation?

yea but I mean I have noticable muscles... and ive done no training what so ever for a year (had them since I can remember) - i saw improvements when I trained but they've obv gone now coz its been like a year+

and on ur note I tried to bulk towards to end of my training I was eating 5-6 meals a day, eating everything and anything constantly and I put on hardly any weight at all (what seemed to be the weight I was putting on through training).

Re: Any explanation?

Well towards the end of your training you'll have noticed you werent growing as fast you'll obviously notice that you've grown alot at the beginging of your training but then near the end you'll be grown and then you wont grow as much and you wont notice ? if that makes sense.

what kind of meals.  Your body can only process so much of certian things so fast. For instance you only want to eat every 2 hours and no more than 40g's of protein a serving.

Re: Any explanation?

Being skinny enough to where there's barely any skin to cover over the muscle that you have does not mean you're naturally muscular.

Bullshit. If that statement were to be true, diets such as intermittent fasting would not work.

So you're saying everybody naturally has a 6six pack? I THINK NOT

Im just talking in general here about myself. Forget all my training what i mentioned etc... even before I trained i had a six-pack.
Heres another way to put it, the other day in work some polish guy was calling me a "gym-fucker" (sayin i bashed the gym) and ive not been in over a year. I only went the gym for a year... so my progress wudnt have been that much and overtime ive lost all the mass i'd put on from going - I was telling him I dont go the gym and he was saying I was bullshitting.

I knew someone who since elementary school was really skinny and always thought he had muscles just because he was so skinny that it gave the appearance of muscles.

This is not true.
Maybe you are thinking about vitamins and minerals. You can only intake so much, and absorb so much at a time. The rest will be pissed out.

Yes, everyone does naturally have a 6 pack. Take any persons body fat percentage down far enough and they will have obvious abdonminal muscles.

Re: Any explanation?

no mate. they wont. what you're saying is every single anorexic person has a 6 pack which they obviously dont. How come people who even train hard at the gym for years find it hard to get them?

I have said it once, and I'll say it again; genetics.
Genetics play a huge key factor in the building of muscle. You can only grow so fast, so big, and get to much muscle.
Each person is different
