They hardly even count as specials.[/quote] American paratroopers are still considered a normal soldier, you do have units that are solely used for paratroops, but to become airborne all you must do is go to a thing a 2-3 week course and get certified for jumping. Same thing with air assualt, which would be deployment by helicopter.
