Topic: Shutter Island
Saw it tonight. As a movie buff, I liked it quite a bit.
The director used techniques to deliberately make you feel uncomfortable while watching it; with the music, camera work, scene editing and coloring. Also some scenes were a little morbid and not entirely necessary to tell the story but definitely added to it.
They showed some death that will probably turn off a lot people who will watch it and make some people genuinely not like it. Parts of the plot twist I was able to predict from the very beginning, I wont say which because they are spoilers, but the entire twist was almost unguessable.
If you're not easily offended and can sit through a mildly boring but scary movie I'd recommend it.
tl;dr: really long and scary episode of Scooby Doo.
